What do you do if you come across a 1973 VW Bus in the scrap yard. Well if you’re into a bit of sustainable living, you convert it into a chicken coup of course.
This is exactly what Kevin Smith of Portland, Oregon did with the salvaged bus, rescuing it from an early grave and giving it pride of place in his back garden.
In roughly 3 months, Kevin tool the vehicle and drastically overhauled it into its current state which is one-third chicken coop, one-third tool shed and one-third greenhouse.
Of course, as he is obviously into a bit of a project or two, he sold it a few months later for $2,500.
