This picture was taken during the oil crisis of 1973 which was when the power hungry oil controllers that be, (OPEC), decided to create an oil embargo to punish the evil West’s support of one war or another.

Of course, this didn’t stop some innovative folk getting around in the comfort of their favourite vehicle.
